Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (CIID) is entrusted with the enforcement of customs law, rules and regulations in Bangladesh through intelligence gathering and its analysis. In doing their job, CIID makes a large number of seizures interdicting goods/consignments smuggled or imported illegally into Bangladesh. Some of these seizures involving gold, narcotics, currency etc. are really spectacular. Major enforcement operations conducted by CIID and major seizures made by them will appear here
